About This Club

In this group, we are going to create and possibly trade Artist Trading Cards (ATCs)! If you're not sure what ATCs are or that sort of thing, come and join us anyway! No Experience Needed/Required!
  1. What's new in this club
  2. So, this is all kind of new to this space, and for me, there will be some trial and error. I've been thinking, and I would like to read what you all think about this-- Two swap choices a month--one more silly (like the three things into a picture or something) and one more "serious" (although that can be up for debate). They'll both be due by the last day of the month so there is less potential confusion. We still want to see your work, even if you don't want to mail it away--or if it isn't small, or whatever. You don't have to draw--you can collage, whatever you want to do!
  3. Welcome @Dyantha! Glad to have you in the club and in the group! I look forward to seeing your work. Don't be afraid to ask if you have any questions or anything!
  4. Thanks @angelak. This should be fun! I'm trying to get into collaging or art journaling everyday so this hopefully will get me motivated to make a few ATCs. Can't wait to see everyone's cards.
  5. For this card, try to describe what would be a perfect day to you. I'm leaving it up to your interpretation--have fun with it! Create a card spending no more than an hour with this theme. To participate, make your card and post a link to it in the share space by 5/11/2020 I will use a randomizer to tell you who to send your card to in the mail! You'll contact them via message here to get their address.
  6. Here is where you'll put the link for this particular swap!
  7. This is where you'll put your links for your cards so we can see your work!

  9. ATCs are, according to Strathmore "What are artist trading cards? Artist trading cards (ATCs) are miniature pieces of art that are traded around the world. Artists create, trade and collect art at organized "swap" events, either in person or online. The only official rule for ATCs is the size: 2.5" x 3.5"," All mediums are open as long as they fit on the card! Please use a sturdier material to make your card. You can use cardstock and cut them to size, actual ATC cards, or construction paper, as examples--cardboard would be considered too thick, but you can use that to protect your card
